DELAY IN FLOOD PROTECTION WORKS CAUSED BY NETWORK RAIL

Further to the Minutes of the October 2018 meeting where the delay in the undertrack crossing by Network Rail was confirmed. It was noted that both the Chairman of Feniton Parish Council and Cllr Bond had written to Neil Parish MP. Neil Parish has been a supporter and advocate for the flood protection works in the village from the start. The Chairman has now received a letter from Neil Parish which details action that he has taken and this can be read via the link below.

NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN: IT’S OFFICIAL!

On 11 July East Devon District Council (EDDC) agreed that our Neighbourhood Plan should be ‘made’, i.e. approved and incorporated into the District’s wider planning regulations and policies.

FENITON NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN APPROVED

On Thursday, 17 May 2018 the Referendum for Feniton’s Neighbourhood Plan was held. A total of 462 voted YES with 30 voting NO and one paper was spoiled. Thus Feniton’s Neighbourhood Plan will be ‘made’, i.e. adopted.

This is an excellent result for Feniton!
